Respirator Fit Testing

Respirator fit testing for N95 respirators is an OSHA requirement for dentists, doctors, and anyone else who potentially comes into contact with Aerosol Transmissible Diseases through their work with patients and therefore must wear a respirator mask.

B&W Compliance also provides Quantitative Fit Testing, which is where a machine is used to determine the percentage of particulates able to come through any particular mask being worn for respiratory protection. The goal is to find a mask that properly fits well enough to prevent at least 90-95% of particulates, including most aerosol transmissible diseases such as COVID-19.

Those who get tested are certified and licensed for a year to be able to safely wear the mask that they were tested to use.
